The Ikon 1" is a full-carbon fork designed for 20" BMX race bikes in Mini and Junior classes. Hand-laid from Toray UD carbon fiber with a carbon steerer tube and carbon dropouts, it weighs just 304 grams while maintaining structural integrity for riders up to 45 kg. Features integrated threaded aluminum insert in the steerer and 7075-T6 aluminum top cap.

Compatibility and Ideal Use Cases

Requires lower bearing race (sold separately) for headset installation. Best suited for Mini and Junior class competitive racing where minimal fork weight provides competitive advantage for riders under 45 kg (99 lbs). Not recommended for riders exceeding weight limit or for aggressive riding styles beyond typical racing applications. Requires torque wrench for proper installation—stem bolts must be torqued to 5 N·m to prevent carbon steerer damage; over-tightening will compromise structural integrity. Axle must not exceed 6 N·m torque specification.
