Description
Box Three V-Point Brake Lever
Product Overview
The Box Three V-Point Brake Lever is a BMX V-brake lever with an integrated lock-on grip clamp that eliminates the need for a separate grip clamp. Featuring standard reach adjustment and reversible mounting for left or right-hand use, this lever simplifies cockpit setup while providing reliable V-brake performance. Compatible with most Velo and select non-ODI lock-on grips.
Key Features
- Integrated lock-on grip clamp – Built-in clamp secures lock-on grips directly to the lever body, eliminating one clamp per side and reducing bar clutter and weight
- Compatible with most lock-on grips – Works with most Velo lock-on grips and select non-ODI lock-on grip brands; verify grip compatibility before ordering
- Reversible design – Can be installed as either left or right-hand lever by flipping orientation, allowing single SKU for both sides or easy position changes
- Standard reach adjustment – Adjustable lever reach accommodates different hand sizes and allows precise positioning for optimal finger placement
- Long lever blade – Extended lever length provides increased leverage for powerful V-brake stopping force with less hand effort
- Pro sizing – Designed for standard BMX handlebars and full-size riders

Compatibility and Ideal Use Cases
This lever is designed for V-brakes (linear pull brakes) only and will NOT work with cantilever brakes, U-brakes, or caliper brakes due to different cable pull ratios. The integrated clamp fits standard 22.2mm diameter handlebars and requires lock-on grips compatible with the Box clamp design—most Velo lock-on grips and some non-ODI brands work; verify compatibility if using grips other than Box or Velo products. Ideal for BMX race bikes, freestyle setups, and dirt jump bikes running V-brakes where simplified bar setup and reduced weight matter. The long lever blade provides strong stopping power but requires adequate bar space—ensure clearance for grips, brake lever, and any other controls. Best suited for riders with average to larger hands; those with smaller hands may prefer shorter lever options. The reversible design is useful for riders who switch brake positions (moto vs. regular) or shops stocking inventory for both left and right applications.
