Description
The Chase ACT 1.2 in Black/Sand is a carbon monocoque BMX race frame built from uni-directional (UD) carbon fiber, with a race record that includes UCI World Cup Championships and USA BMX Elite Pro wins. This colorway pairs a matte black finish with gloss sand graphics, on a frame with a tapered head tube, internal brake routing, an aero seat post and refined chain clearance.

- 20mm reinforced stainless steel enclosed dropouts with integrated alloy chain tensioner, plus a 10mm (3/8") axle adapter
- 2 chain tensioner systems, internal and external, to use the full dropout length with the optional Elevn disc brake adapter
- Chain clearance for larger gear ratios and more disc brake caliper styles

Frame details
Aero seat post: the aero tube, post and clamp (also used on the Chase ACT 1.0 and RSP 4.0 frames) help gain fractions of a second on the track and give a slightly stiffer feel.
Press Fit bottom bracket: the bottom bracket you supply has its bearings in cups that press straight into the frame, with no BB threads to damage as on a traditional Euro BB.
Tapered head tube: 1 1/8" upper to 1.5" lower diameter, so you can run a tapered steerer fork, or a full 1 1/8" steerer fork with the 1.5" lower bearing when the headset has an optional 1 1/8" to 1.5" fork race.
Internal cable routing: the brake cable runs through the top tube for a factory look and doesn't rub against the frame, protecting the cable and graphics.
