Description
The Chase ACT 1.2 Carbon BMX Frame in Black/Slate is Chase's Advanced Carbon Technology race frame, a UD carbon monocoque built to take the power of top pros without feeling too stiff. The ACT line has won UCI World Cup Championships and the USA BMX #1 Pro title, and over the past 2 years has taken more UCI and USA BMX Elite Men's Pro wins than any other frame. Connor Fields and Joris Daudet spent over 10 months on the ACT 1.2 before release.

- Carbon monocoque frame featuring uni-directional carbon technology
- Integrated tapered headset: 1.5" OS bottom and 1-1/8" top, with reinforced alloy cup
- Internal brake cable routing and recessed brake bosses
- Chase aero seat post with integrated quick release seat clamp
- Press Fit integrated BB86 bottom bracket with reinforced alloy cup
- Extra length reinforced stainless steel 20mm dropouts with built-in alloy tensioner; 10mm (3/8) axle adapter included
- Updates over the ACT 1.0: more chain clearance for larger gear ratios, room for more disc caliper styles with the optional Elevn disc adapter, matte finish with gloss graphics
- 2 chain tensioner systems, internal and external, to use the whole rear dropout with the optional Elevn disc brake adapter
Included with each frame
- Elevn monocoque carbon aero seat post, 27.2 diameter, 110mm length, in matching color
- 20mm dropout frame plates installed, plus a 10mm (3/8″) dropout frame plate set
- 20mm and 10mm (3/8″) chain tensioner blocks; 15mm blocks sold separately in Black Anodized only
- Outer chain tensioner bolts installed, internal chain tensioner bolts included

Frame details
Aero seat post: Chase brought the aero seat tube, post and clamp to BMX racing on the ACT 1.0 and RSP 4.0 frames. It helps gain fractions of a second on the track and adds a slightly stiffer feel.
Press Fit bottom bracket: your bottom bracket's bearings sit in cups that press into the frame, removing the risk of damaged BB threads found with a traditional Euro BB.
Tapered head tube: 1 1/8" upper and 1.5" lower diameter. Use a tapered steerer fork, or a full 1 1/8" steerer fork with the 1.5" lower bearing when the headset has an optional 1 1/8" to 1.5" fork race.
Internal cable routing: the brake cable runs inside the top tube for a factory look, and since it never rubs the frame, the cable and graphics are protected.
