The Chase ACT 1.2 Carbon Frame is a race-focused monocoque carbon fiber frame featuring unidirectional carbon construction, integrated tapered headtube (1.5" to 1-1/8"), and internal brake cable routing. With Press Fit BB86 bottom bracket, reinforced stainless steel 20mm dropouts with built-in tensioners, and integrated aero seatpost clamp, it's designed for elite-level racing with improved chain clearance and disc brake compatibility. Available in six Pro-level sizes.

Compatibility and Ideal Use Cases

This frame is designed for elite-level racing and requires tapered forks (1-1/8" to 1.5"), Press Fit BB86 bottom brackets, and 20mm through-axle rear hubs. The built-in axle adapter allows use of standard 10mm (3/8") axles. Internal cable routing is designed for disc brakes; requires optional Elevn disc adapter (post or flat mount). Not compatible with rim brakes, standard 1-1/8" straight forks, threaded bottom brackets, or quick-release rear axles. The aero seatpost system requires a Chase aero seatpost (sold separately). Ideal for competitive racers seeking a UCI World Cup and USA BMX #1 Pro-proven carbon frame with refined geometry, improved chain and brake clearance, and the controlled stiffness characteristics developed with input from Connor Fields and Joris Daudet. Please note: Brake fluid on paint that is not silicone-based can act like a paint thinner and eat away at the coating of your paint, causing it to peel. Due to different types of paints/decals/materials used for BMX parts, do not let the Brake Fluid touch any part of the bike, as there can be significant self infliced damage due to this.

GEOMETRIES:

The Chase ACT 1.0 & RSP 4.0 Frames utilizes the Aero seat post tube, seat post, and seat post clamp into BMX racing. This is to not only to help gain fractions of a second on the track with improved aerodynamics, but the Aero tubes also offers a slightly stiffer feel. We know BMX bikes don’t need to go fully aero testing into a wind tunnel, but when races are won or lost by fractions of a second, every advantage will help.

The Chase ACT 1.0 & RSP 4.0 Frames both use a Press Fit style Bottom Bracket tube. Press Fit BB are a simple and easy way to install a Bottom Bracket, where the Bottom Bracket you supply for your frame has the Bearings in cups and simply press into the frame, eliminating the chance of damaging BB threads, with the traditional Euro BB. The BB is usually lighter and easier to install and remove as well.

The Chase ACT 1.0 & RSP 4.0 Frames both use a Integrated Headtube. Tapered head tubes offer a combination for the bearing sizes. Our tapered head tubes have a 1 1/8” upper diameter to 1.5” lower diameter. this allows you to run a tapered steer tube fork, or use a full 1 1/8” fork steer tube, with the offered 1.5” lower bearing, when the headset has an optional 1 1/8” to 1.5” fork race option.

The Chase ACT 1.0 and RSP Frames feature Internal Cable Routing thru the top tube, giving you the factory look, as well as providing protection for the brake cable and graphics, since the cable does not rub against the frame.
