Chase Rsp 5.0 Os20 Frame Cement / Teal

The Chase RSP 5.0 OS20 frame in Cement / Teal is a 7005-T6 aluminum BMX race frame for bigger riders running OS20 wheels, offered here in OS20 Pro XXL and OS20 Pro XXXL. The geometry was refined with feedback from pro riders Connor Fields and Joris Daudet, and the hydroformed, butted tubing keeps it stiff where it counts and light everywhere else.

Features

• 7005-T6 SpeedLite aluminum, lighter than standard 6061-T6 frames
• Double-butted hydroformed top tube, reinforced at the seat tube junction
• Triple-butted hydroformed down tube: three wall thicknesses cut tube weight by 15% compared to last year's frame tubes
• Hydroformed tubes are oval in both directions in the main flex areas to reduce flex both ways
• Muscle-formed chain stays and seat stays for a stiffer back end
• Integrated tapered head tube, 1-1/8" upper to 1.5" lower: runs a tapered steer tube fork, or a 1-1/8" steer tube with a 1-1/8" to 1.5" fork race
• Internal brake housing routing from the head tube, through the down tube and bottom bracket, out of the chain stay (out of the bottom of the down tube on small sizes)
• Press fit BB86 bottom bracket: bearings in cups press into the frame, no BB threads to damage
• Disc brake only: dropouts restructured for clearance with a wide range of calipers, post mount and flat mount compatible, built to take the extra force of a disc brake like the RSP 4.0
• Fully enclosed CNC-machined 3/8" (10mm) dropouts with an extra long 2.3" (60mm) axle slot and built-in alloy tensioner, so you can use the full length of the dropout
• Aero seat post tube for a slightly stiffer feel and a small aero gain
• Bio Fit sizing across the Chase range

Fitment

Built for OS20 wheels, forks and tires, and needs an OS20 fork. Disc brakes only, no rim brake mounts.

Brake fluid warning: brake fluid that is not silicone-based can act like paint thinner and make paint peel. Do not let brake fluid touch any part of the bike.
