Chase Rsp 5.0 Os20 Frame Slate / Red

The Chase RSP 5.0 OS20 frame in slate with red accents is a 7005-T6 aluminum BMX race frame for bigger riders running OS20 wheels, forks and tires. Its geometry was refined with feedback from pro riders Connor Fields and Joris Daudet, and it pairs hydroformed, butted tubing with internal brake routing and a disc-brake-only rear end.

Features

• 7005-T6 SpeedLite aluminum, lighter than standard 6061-T6 frames
• Double-butted hydroformed top tube and triple-butted hydroformed down tube; triple butting cuts tube weight by 15% over the previous year's tubes
• Muscle-formed chain stays and seat stays for a stiffer rear end
• Internal brake housing routing from the head tube, through the down tube and bottom bracket, exiting the chain stay (bottom of the down tube on small sizes)
• Integrated tapered head tube, 1-1/8" upper to 1.5" lower (Expert XL and larger); runs a tapered steer tube fork, or a 1-1/8" steer tube with a 1-1/8" to 1.5" fork race
• Press fit BB86 bottom bracket (Expert XL and larger); Mini, Junior and Expert use a 68mm Euro BSA shell
• Fully enclosed 10mm dropouts with an extra long 2.3" (60mm) axle slot and built-in alloy tensioners
• Disc brake only, post mount or flat mount; dropouts restructured for caliper clearance and, like the RSP 4.0, built to take the extra force of a disc brake
• Aero seat post tube for a slightly stiffer feel
• Bio Fit sizing across 20" and 24" frame sizes
