Description

DK Zenith Disc Race Frame
Product Overview
The DK Zenith Disc Race Frame is a competitive BMX racing frame built on proven low-profile geometry optimized for speed and stability. Constructed from 6000 series hydroformed aluminum, it features a patent-pending sliding flat-mount disc brake system designed for responsive braking and precise control. Built to accelerate and engineered for winning.
Key Features
-
100% custom 6000 series hydroformed aluminum construction – Premium aluminum alloy with optimized tube shapes created through hydroforming process. Hydroforming allows complex geometries and wall thickness variations that improve stiffness without excess weight. Lightweight material reduces rotational inertia and improves acceleration.
-
Patent-pending sliding flat-mount disc brake system – Proprietary design delivers superior braking performance in all conditions. Flat-mount standard is more compact and lighter than post-mount alternatives. Two bolts run through flattened frame surface and thread directly into caliper (or adapter), creating rigid, responsive braking interface.
-
Proven low-profile racing geometry – Based on DK Professional frame design refined for maximum speed and stability. Low-profile geometry reduces rotational mass and improves aerodynamic positioning for racing applications.
-
Horizontal sliding axle/brake system – 30mm adjustment range allows fine-tuning of chain tension and brake caliper alignment without frame modification. Enables quick adjustments between races or practice sessions.
-
Tapered 1-1/8"–1.5" head tube – Modern tapered geometry improves steering stiffness and handling response. Wider lower diameter increases fork crown rigidity; narrower upper diameter reduces weight. Included headset adapts to standard 1-1/8" forks with extra lower race provided.
-
Trapezoidal seat mast – Strategic tube shaping at the bottom bracket increases lateral stiffness and power transfer efficiency. Optimizes frame rigidity where pedaling forces concentrate.
-
Wide stance rear stay design – Extended rear triangle width adds lateral stiffness for improved power delivery and stability during hard acceleration. Wider geometry supports racing demands without compromising maneuverability.
-
Threaded Euro bottom bracket shell – Standard threading accepts cartridge-style bottom brackets. Allows easy crankset changes and maintenance without special tools.
-
Internal brake cable routing – Cables run inside frame tubes for clean aesthetics and protection from dirt and damage. Simplifies setup and reduces external hardware visibility.
-
Integrated chain tensioners – Built-in tensioning points work with horizontal dropouts, eliminating external adjusters. Maintains consistent chain tension across different setups.
-
Multiple size options – Six frame sizes (Pro 20.5", XL 21", XX 21.5", XXX 22", XXXX 22.5", Cruiser 21.75") accommodate various rider heights and preferences.
-
Flat-mount disc brake only compatibility – Requires flat-mount disc brakes or adapters. Not compatible with post-mount or rim brake systems.
-
27.2mm seat post diameter – Standard oversize BMX seat post bore fits contemporary seat posts and allows component compatibility.
