The ELEVN Tapered Integrated Headset is designed for BMX frames with tapered head tubes (1.5" lower, 1-1/8" upper). Constructed from CNC-machined 6061 aluminum with sealed bearings, this headset includes both 1.5" and 1-1/8" lower fork races, allowing use with either tapered forks or standard 1-1/8" forks converted to fit tapered head tubes. Includes a complete compression kit with top cap, star nut, and compression bolt.

Compatibility and Ideal Use Cases

This headset fits BMX frames with tapered integrated head tubes only—specifically frames designed for 1-1/8" upper and 1.5" lower cups. It will NOT fit frames with standard 1-1/8" straight head tubes or external cup headsets. Compatible with either tapered forks (1-1/8" upper, 1.5" lower steerer tube) using the 1.5" fork race, or standard 1-1/8" straight steerer forks using the included conversion race. Important limitation: The 1-1/8" conversion race will not work on forks with integrated (built-in) lower bearing races on the steerer tube—it requires a fork with a separate press-on race design. Ideal for modern BMX race frames and high-end freestyle frames that use tapered head tubes for increased front-end stiffness.
