Installation Notes Remove rear wheel and disassemble hub body from axle. Install new cassette body onto hub axle, aligning splines. Select appropriate spacers (0.5mm and/or 1mm) based on cog thickness. Install selected cog onto cassette body threads. Thread lock ring hand-tight until cog seats firmly. Tighten progressively in alternating directions (left-right) to ensure even clamping pressure. Verify cog rotation is smooth and free before wheel reassembly.
Maintenance Notes The 4 double-pawl system provides reliable engagement across extended riding and racing. Periodically inspect pawl teeth for wear; if engagement becomes sluggish or delayed, the pawl and spring kit can be replaced separately without full cassette body replacement. Sealed bearings require no regular greasing.
Performance Note Double-pawl design delivers immediate, responsive power transfer critical for competitive gate-start racing. The 4-pawl configuration provides redundancy—if one pawl wears, three others maintain full engagement until replacement.
Note Not compatible with Excess XLS hubs. Verify hub model before purchase to ensure proper fitment.
