Description

The Excess XLS Carbon 451x21mm 36H is a 3K weave carbon rim with a machined brake track for 20" rear wheels on V-brake race bikes. At 289g it saves weight over alloy while staying stiff, and it is tubeless ready.

Fitment

Rear wheel with V-brakes and a 36-hole hub. Standard aluminum-rim brake pads damage this rim; use carbon-specific pads. Carbon can crack from direct impacts, so inspect it regularly.
