Product Overview

The FIT AM16 is a USA-made, full-chromoly frame and fork combo engineered specifically for 16" BMX bikes. Designed to be the lightest 16" setup available, it features performance-oriented geometry with lower standover height and a shorter rear end to improve handling and control for younger riders. The matching fork is designed to work with the frame but can also be used to upgrade other 16" bikes.

Compatibility and Ideal Use Cases

Designed for younger riders transitioning from balance bikes or looking to upgrade from entry-level 16" BMX bikes. Works with mid bottom bracket cranks, 25.4mm seat posts, 14mm rear axles, and 3/8" front axles. The 41.8mm integrated headset requires compatible bearings. Thread-on brake mounts allow brake installation (mounts sold separately). Lower standover height and optimized geometry suit riders who need better bike control and reduced weight for learning tricks, pumping, and riding varied terrain. The extended fork height and 2.4" tire clearance accommodate larger tires for improved traction and comfort.
