Compatibility and Ideal Use Cases

The FIT gyro fits most BMX bikes with threadless headsets and standard 1-1/8" steerer tubes. It requires upper and lower gyro brake cables (sold separately) to connect the brake lever to the rear brake caliper. This gyro is essential for riders who perform barspins, tailwhips, or other tricks requiring handlebar rotation while maintaining rear brake functionality. The thin profile design works well with both U-brakes and linear-pull brakes. Installation requires removing the stem, installing the gyro between the headset and stem, and routing upper and lower brake cables through the gyro tabs. Not compatible with front brakes or brakeless setups.
