Compatibility and Ideal Use Cases
This stem fits standard 7/8-inch BMX handlebars and 1-1/8-inch steerer tubes (threadless forks and integrated headsets). Best suited for flatland riders who need minimal reach for proper bike balance during spinning tricks, rolling maneuvers, and technical flatland combinations. The 26mm reach keeps weight centered over the bike regardless of bar position, crucial for scuffing, rolling, and maintaining balance. Not ideal for street or park riding where longer reach provides better leverage and control—riders doing those disciplines should use standard 48-53mm reach stems. The short reach will feel cramped for most non-flatland applications.
