Description
FIT Bike Co Sealed Low Flange 3/8″ Front Hub
The FIT sealed low flange front hub is a replacement or upgrade hub for BMX front wheels. Featuring sealed cartridge bearings and low-flange design in matte black aluminum, this hub provides reliable performance with reduced maintenance compared to unsealed designs. The 36-hole drilling supports standard wheel builds with 14-gauge spokes.
Key Features
- Sealed cartridge bearings – sealed bearing system keeps out dirt and moisture, reducing maintenance frequency and extending bearing life compared to loose ball or unsealed designs
- Low flange design – smaller hub flanges reduce weight and create a more compact profile while maintaining adequate spoke bracing angle for wheel strength
- Matte black aluminum shell – lightweight aluminum construction keeps hub weight down, while matte finish resists scratches and provides a clean appearance
- 36-hole drilling – standard spoke count provides good balance between strength and weight for general BMX riding
- 100mm dropout spacing – standard BMX front hub spacing compatible with most BMX forks
Technical Specifications

Compatibility and Ideal Use
This hub requires a fork with 3/8″ dropouts and 100mm spacing—the standard configuration for most BMX forks. The 36-hole drilling is compatible with most BMX rims drilled for 36 spokes. Axle length of 150mm accommodates standard fork widths. Best suited as a replacement hub for damaged or worn front hubs, or as an upgrade from unsealed bearing hubs on entry-level complete bikes. The sealed bearing design makes this hub appropriate for riders who want reduced maintenance and consistent performance across various riding conditions.
