FIT Bike Co The 57 BMX Frame

The 57 is Shane Halahan's signature frame, designed for stability and maneuverability on dirt jumps and concrete transitions. Features 13.57"-14" adjustable rear end, integrated campy-style head tube with engraved Key logo, and mid bottom bracket. Made in the USA and available in three top tube lengths with three color options: Heinz Fade, Trans Ketchup, and Gloss Clear.

Key Features

  • Adjustable 13.57"-14" rear end – Sliding dropouts allow chainstay length adjustment for dialing in wheelbase based on riding preference—shorter for quicker handling or longer for stability on big jumps
  • 74.25° head tube angle – Relaxed steering geometry provides stable, predictable handling for high-speed dirt sections and transition riding
  • Three top tube options – Available in 20.75", 21", 21.25", and 21.5" lengths to accommodate different rider heights and cockpit preferences
  • Integrated campy-style head tube – Internal bearing cups press directly into frame for clean aesthetics and reduced stack height, with engraved FIT Key logo
  • Mid bottom bracket shell – Positions cranks higher for increased pedal clearance over jumps, lips, and obstacles
  • 14mm dropouts – Compatible with stronger 14mm axles for increased rear wheel stiffness and durability under hard landings
  • Welded-on chainstay brake mounts – Brake tabs integrated into chainstays for riders running brakes; clean design when running brakeless
  • Made in USA – Domestic welding and manufacturing with quality control throughout production

Compatibility and Ideal Use Cases

Requires integrated campy-style headset, mid bottom bracket, 14mm rear axle, 25.4mm (1") seatpost, and separate seat clamp. The adjustable 13.57"-14" rear end allows riders to customize wheelbase for specific terrain—slam it short for tight transitions and technical lines, or extend it for stability on big dirt jumps and high-speed sections. The 74.25° head angle and 11.57" bottom bracket height balance responsive handling with stability for dirt jumping, pump tracks, and concrete park riding. Best suited for intermediate to advanced riders who prioritize versatility across dirt and park terrain. The 20.75"-21.5" top tube range accommodates riders approximately 5'7" to 6'1" tall, though individual fit preference varies based on riding style.
