Product Overview

The Insight PL4 is a two-piece crankset designed for BMX racing. Built with forged 6061-T6 aluminum arms and a 24mm chromoly spindle, it features a 104mm BCD four-bolt spider for chainring compatibility. The drive-side spindle is press-fit into the crank arm, while the non-drive side uses a dual pinch bolt system for secure attachment.

Designed for BMX race frames with 24mm bottom bracket shells. Compatible with both press-fit and Euro-style threaded 24mm bottom brackets (bottom bracket sold separately). The 104mm BCD accepts standard four-bolt chainrings for easy gear ratio changes. Best suited for competitive racing across all age classes where riders need reliable, lightweight cranks with common chainring compatibility. 160mm Q-factor fits most BMX race frames without clearance issues. Not compatible with one-piece cranks, three-piece systems, or non-24mm bottom bracket standards—verify frame bottom bracket spec before ordering.
