Description
ODI AG-2 SIGNATURE CLAMP LOCK-ON GRIPS
Product Overview
The ODI AG-2 Signature Clamp Lock-On Grips are designed with a 30.5mm diameter, offset padding, and a soft pro compound for improved comfort and vibration dampening. Featuring an aluminum-reinforced end, single-clamp lock-on system, and redesigned surface pattern, these grips provide secure control and durability for racing and aggressive riding.
Key Features
- 30.5mm larger diameter with offset padding – Increased diameter compared to original AG grips; offset design places more padding toward the rider's palm for impact absorption without adding bulk to the entire grip circumference
- Soft pro compound – Softer rubber provides better shock absorption and reduces hand fatigue on rough terrain
- Redesigned surface pattern – Updated knurl pattern increases tackiness and control while improving vibration dampening
- Aluminum-reinforced ends – Metal insert at the grip end prevents blowout damage from impacts or crashes
- Hard plastic end cap – Molded over the aluminum reinforcement for durability without the risk of gouging bars or causing injury in a crash
- Angled rib pattern – Thin ribs provide grip texture and control without making the grip feel oversized
- Single-clamp lock-on system (Version 2.1) – One clamp secures the grip to the handlebar, reducing weight while maintaining reliable grip retention

Compatibility and Ideal Use Cases
These grips are compatible with standard 22.2mm BMX handlebars and require bars without integrated grip collars or non-standard diameters. The single-clamp lock-on system works on both left and right sides of the handlebar. Not compatible with threadless or slip-on grip systems. Ideal for racers and riders who want maximum comfort and vibration dampening without sacrificing control. The larger diameter and soft compound make these grips well-suited for riders with larger hands or those who experience hand fatigue on rough tracks. The offset padding design focuses cushioning where impact forces are highest while keeping the overall grip profile manageable.
